I picked up a 47 Cub with a one point hitch woods mower a few years ago from the rail road museum I belong to. Wouldn't start and they didn't need it for mowing any more and didn't want to see it get scrapped. Had pretty low compression even though everything was loose so I had a valve job done on it which is quite the deal since the valves are in the block. Shop went through it and the only thing we did was replace bearings. I lifted the bare block alone to put into the truck after everything was off of it. I use it these days to move empty wagons and small jobs although for small jobs it competes with my A, 100 and BN. I try to find something to do with all them through the summer to keep them going. I don't have other implements other than the Woods mower and if I ever get other implements the wheels are set out as far as they can be and would have to move them back for something like plowing or cultivating.
