Hello all. I have a Ford Tractor model 1920 that was purchased by my Father in 1992. Recently the lift has started to hiccup or lower then come back up without movement of the lift lever. My first thought is to replace the Hydraulic Filter and fluid and hope that fixes it. I have read where the Fast/slow lift adjustment knob under the seat is connected to a rubber grommet that can deteriorate over time and cause my problem. This hiccupping happens when the tractor is cold as well as when its warm. Has anyone had this issue before, and have they been able to correct it? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
