As most of you know a lot of the old Cases had a chain final drive--At the pull in Waterloo,Ia. while pulling we broke the one on the left side. It had 140 chain from the factory so we spent the extra $$$ and put 140 heavy back in it. It takes right at 11 ft. and comes in 10 ft. lengths so we had trouble finding 1 extra ft. instead of buying a full 10 ft. length. The big supply house in Chicago sold it in increments of 1 ft. but were out of 1 ft. lengths and would not cut off a ft. from a longer length--I said--don't you have a maintenance dept. with a 4 in. grinder and a cut-off wheel??--NOPE So I had enough 1/2 links to cobble it together for we had another pull over the week-end. Can't get some pics to load---Tee Broken link--found it all in the trans. When it broke it raised heck with my foam and the rear cover
Son pulled it in the 5500 lb. no speed limit class and got a win--Had more weight hanging on the front end the we ever had.

And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
