Dad bought an 830 gas new thought since the combine with the D-19 engines ran cheap that the case would be similar with similar size engines. He got a surprise when he started chopping hay and it needed feeding again about 3 hours after starting. Dealer came out and weaned it to about half that. He was happy then. I would have bought the diesel at the time. Good durable tractor with power steering that worked good for us. I know the other dealers all tried to sell theirs was better. I liked the tractor never ever liked the gas engine. I would get a sore throat from the fumes every spring. Never was around the olly or the allis.
