As mentioned, Randy Lund probably has as much experience with the 1600 as anyone on here. The 1600 was basically a modernized 880. We had the early version of the 830 with the Case-O-Matic. It proved to be a good tractor and a good cold weather starter. It was a much clumsier feeling tractor than a 1650. Was a fairly heavy tractor for a 60 some hp. tractor. Didn't particularly like the Case-o-Matic, but didn't hate it either. Never owned a D-19, but a dealer demonstrated one here during corn cutting side of a 4010. Pop didn't buy it (nor the 4010) but was impressed with the tractor. Personally, I would go with the 1600, because I've never owned one, and because I would prefer the better handling of the Oliver. But if someone handed me any of the three, I wouldn't feel like I got taken.
