Although I am not old enough to have witnessed it's use first hand, I recall it being used as an engine top end oil. There was a clear glass bottle that held the Marvel and a hose connecting the bottle to the intake manifold. As engine load increased so did the flow of marvel to the engine. I know some people that mix it with the gas in their old cars. I also remember it being used to lubricate the Judson Supercharger that was an aftermarket kit to increase the HP of VW engines in the 50's and 60's. I believe this was refered to as an inverse oiler as oil flow increased as engine vacuum decreased. Personally, I'm glad to see such an old product still availible and in the metal cans no less!
