Sorry, but going to be a little direct here. If you cant follow the wiring diagram and translate that into what needs to be done to repair the electrical problem on your tractor you need to find a friend who has that ability to help you or pay a trained or experienced person to help you. I suppose what causes me to be so stern is that you can easily mess up more stuff than you correct in short order if you dont understand an electrical system. In general a key switch has a source of power to it and when you turn the key on the power is connected to multiple things like the starter button, the instruments, the heater and AC if you have a cab and other items. If you can not figure out the source of the power to the key switch through your wiring diagram in my opinion you plain and simple need help.
