I buy 2 cans of rustoleum, white, if the plow sits for years, paint lasts. You can easily see any rust starting with white and it's worth the cost for as much as I plow, which is not a whole lot. It's also nice for seeing how the plow is performing as with my 2 bottom 101 Ford, sometimes the back plow won't be taking as much and the paint does not come off the mold board all the way like the front one, needs adjustment to take more of a bite.
