I thought you might have gotten one of poor print quality, but no wonder. You didn't get a service manual, you got a "workshop" manual written by a guy who works on/restores tractors.
As posted, eBay for used originals is a good source. peacefulcreekauctions on eBay is one with good quality reprints of OEM manuals. You can go to AGCOpubs.com to get manuals direct from them. John Deere D's pictures show you the publication numbers for the parts (651093M93, current number) and tech (1448811M1) manuals, to use when looking for manuals. "Packet" means you get all the pages and you have to put it in your own binder when shown for an AGCO manual. It looks like 690495M3 is a 35 Operator's manual. Outside of the used originals just about any manufacturer's manual for older equipment is going to be a reprint, but there can be a big range of print quality.
