I have been following used tractors for sale with the idea of upgrading from my MF65. there is a 1987 MF274 4x4 with an MF236 loader and 4700 hrs. from the looks of the two pictures it is very original and straight with good rubber all around. The asking price is $25000.00 cdn obo. Are these good tractors and how are they for fuel consumption? I have been using my MF65 for 30 years and it has been an excellent unit for what I do except I am not getting any younger (77 yrs) and the power steering and 4x4 would be nice for winter plowing without the need for chains. The 274 would let me access my 6 acre woodlot which I can't do with the 65 as it is too steep. also I don't know about the price. Thanks
