I see many sealed LED bulbs that can directly replace the factory original sealed halogen bulbs. This allows the original metal fixture to be reused reducing the cost of converting to LED by about half. I don't know how many lumens a sealed halogen bulb is but I do know that the LED direct replacement is 2200 lumens. I would think that this would be at least 2 times the lumens of the original halogen. Has anyone pulled the halogens out and installed the LED sealed bulb? Were you happy? The specific tractor I am wanting to change to LED's is a John Deere 4440. I would put the sealed LED light bulbs in the two fenders and in the four rear lights. Thanks.
