Hello all,
I am hoping someone can help me out with some information regarding a PTO driven winch. I have a 1948 8n. I have seen many videos online of Ferguson PTO driven winches, manufactured by Hesford in the UK I believe. All videos I have seen were either on TE-20's or similar but newer Ferguson's.
My question for the group is:
1. were these winches made or available only in the UK? Were they ever available in North America?
2. Are they compatible with Ford N series tractors?
3. Does anyone anywhere have a potential lead on one that I could buy?
I presume that they would fit and be compatible with any Ferguson system tractor including my 8n. I am in Canada and realize that shipping one is likely my only option.
