Yes, the earth wobbles on its axis and that can affect the climate. That is a fact of science, just as surely as external, un-seen solar systems do not increase CO2 levels in our atmosphere! Our immediate, climatological problems originate on this planet and not in the stars, no matter what astrologists may claim.
I really wouldnt worry about planets and stars across the universe trying to do you in, your own mass is exerting more of a gravitational influence on the planet than the nearest stars are. At least on a Newtonian level...
