I sold my cows last year intending to not have to deal with keeping them fed and watered any more. However, my 81 year old neighbor is too old (and ill) to take care of his cattle any more but too stubborn to quit so I've spent this past week helping him feed his cows so they don't starve to death and he doesn't freeze to death. I even got to carry a calf a couple hundred yards and over three gates the other day. I think I have him convinced that he needs to sell them. I'm afraid that the first warm day he will change his mind.
