Being 75 now, I can remember many of the dealers of this same area. Bergstrom's in Buffalo originally a Ford dealer, became Massey Ferguson, Scharbers in Rogers survived the depression years by selling local "cooked" corn out of the back room, now bought out by some mega dealer group, still has tractors but mostly lawn care equipment. Heinen's IH in Rogers also had a dry goods store upstairs, now an antique store. O'Shanausey (sp?) owned the Ford dealership in Long Lake. Fortin Hdwr in Hamel had the AC dealership. Treptau had the Oliver dealership in Corcoran. Welter's in Buffalo and St Michael had the IH dealerships. There was also an AC dealer in Buffalo. I was told that someone sold Minneapolis Moline in the Champlin area, but have yet to confirm that. Much of this same area has become suburbia and hobby farms.
