Talk to him. Tell him his carb is fine,just needs a bit of 'love'. New carbs are 'junk',better to fix what he has. He may have other issues,not just carb.Immagine how mad he will be when he spends lots of money and his tractor runs as bad(or worse) than before. You will be stuck with 'warranty work' and have an unhappy customer who may possibly 'bad mouth' you..treat him right,save him some money and you will have a happy return customer who tell others to do business with you.
