In my county here in Iowa people were calling county health services to have their name put on a list. Our county has had the short straw in vaccine allocation and county health doesn't know when the next batch will come in. Now county health is telling people not to call them anymore. If a person in this county goes to a doctor clinic in this county that clinic will call that person when he or she qualifies and when they have vaccine available. Supposedly teachers, law enforcement and those over 65 are next and again the word supposedly, in the next week. I am not going to sit by the phone holding my breath. Marilyn and I have both had the virus so we should have antibodies for awhile but it would be nice to get the shots and get it over with.
