I know you don't want to hear it but it's time to slow down a little bit. The fact is we aren't as sharp as we used to be and hurrying only makes it worse.
Putting the gas in the wrong tank on a chainsaw isn't a minor thing when you have been running one for decades. It's a rookie mistake that would be hard for an experienced man to do. Just think about it a few minutes and you'll realize you can close your eyes and get the correct tank every time just from experience.
