It gets more pressure in the original use than I put on it with air. If it is that poor I would not want to use it for a propane tank either. Mine has been in use for over 20 years with no problem. I did have an air compressor blow the tank out when the relief valve didn't open one time about 30 years ago. Blew the bottom right out made a dust cloud and fel right back down like it was with a aider tank afterwards. Junked the tank and put a different one on it. Got a lot of questions from dad about it. Blew out the window near it too. I don't live in a bubble worried about if I will get a pinched finger or something while doing things.
