Anytime you see something like 14-26 etc. it would have been the original tire size say 50-60s. New tires all have the ._ or in this case a 16.9X 26 would be the new equivalent size. I measure the tire rim by the inside of the outside bevels. So a 15 inch rim actually measure 16+ wide. Depending on what you are doing 2 inches under the tire size is the normal for the rim width to be. I have a set on my 560 that some one set up for pulling so the 18 inch wide tire is the same width as the rim. It makes the tread flat and it rides OK at slow speed but is terrible if you crank it up going down a highway because the tire flexes differently. I would get rid of them but the tractor mostly just sits now and do not feel like rounding up another set that is more correct.
