The only disappointment i have with my 08 Silverado (bought new) is the slop in the receiver. I have 67,000 miles on it starting and stopping, you can feel the trailer bang. The pin hole in the receiver is egg shaped. The only hitch that doesn't move is the weight distribution hitch on my travel trailer. I will say that this truck has had various trailers hooked to it 90% of it life. I'm ready to just replace the hitch. I'm convinced is was just too sloppy for the factory.
