To clarify what patsdeere is saying the box has to be intentionally clicked to check it to request an email sent to you when there is a reply to your posted message. Option is also available in Modern View. So maybe it got clicked accidentally in one of your recent posts. Does the message tell you the post title, if you are emailing a poster using the YT Safe mail it does. I have only requested to be notified about post one time and that was a couple years ago so I don�t remember what they came into my email like.
