In the summer we do alfalfa, oat, and grass hay - about 75 acres in total for ourselves and neighbors. Everything stays connected and only gets unhooked if something goes wrong. For the Hay business making bales is always time sensitive in our area (especially when it's other people's hay), so any tractor could be substituted for any other just in case we a have a problem.
