Grandpa just a word of advice as a general rule when the tires burn off the rest of the tractor has been to hot. Years ago in Tec school the class did some transmission work on a tractor and used some gears that came out of a tractor that burned they didn't last long they where soft, I still remember our instructor giving the class the raspberries for not checking the gears with a file.
