We always wore those Munk yellow gloves with cuffs around in the oilfields. Bot them by the case from the pump/oilfield supply store.
In the winter I like those brown jersey gloves with the red lining that don't have the stretch cuff like the cheap unlined ones. They don't last more than a week or two before wearing holes in them but they are warm and flexible in cold weather as long as I don't get them wet or get oil/diesel on them. Cheap enough that they are throwaways. Easy to pull on and off since they don't have those stretch cuffs.
