I don't know if prices are regional or not but I work at a mill part time and can tell you that here Black Walnut is extremely valuable right now. Red and white oak is also bringing some money. I cannot vouch for other types. I have a nice grove of Walnut that can be seen from the highway and am continually bothered by buyers and cutters. Do NOT sell until you have a forester mark your tree s and he will also give you an approximate value and may recommend a cutter.
