You can only fill about 75-80% as full as you would fill silage, dry corn puts more pressure on. This is important.
Some folks have been successful augering dry corn into the blower pipe up a ways and letting the air stream carry the corn up. I�m not sure how they transition that to drop in and catch the air up the pipe. Running dry corn through the blower is very hard on dry corn.
Maintaining quality in a tall thin cylinder with no air flow possible can be hard on your nerves, hard to deal with hot spots or any issues that could develop.
Unloading to haul away can be hard in the typical silo location by a barn, figure that out before you start.
It looks possible but when you work through the details it�s not always that economical even with a �free� silo.
