About a dozen (or so ) years ago, my coworkers decided to deep-fry a turkey at work. An extremely tight co-worker bought a used three-legged cheapie fryer and we got started frying...inside the shop. We had to work at the same time we were frying the turkey, so we took turns babysitting the thing as it fried. My turn came and I walked into the back room to see one of the red-hot fryer legs starting to bend and the whole fryer was starting to tilt and had just about tipped over. I grabbed a welding glove and righted the thing back up. Another 10 seconds of inattention would have probably had our whole shop catch fire. Never use those things indoors or without being watched. However, if you want some real humor, watch some videos of people putting a frozen turkey into the hot oil. ;-)
