Probably 30 years ago, my wife and I had just gone to bed after loading 3 semis out that night and checked the dryer. We got a phone call from our trucker if we had any shovels, we told him where they were said they had a little spill they'd take care of it. Thought about it a little while we figured we better check it out. They said it was in Red Wing at the terminal, we are 20 miles away. About 2miles out of Red Wing we see a little corn on the road. It got progressively wider, small pile at the first stop light, not much at the next, told us they ran that one. It opened up more when they went over the tracks to the line. Big pile on the ground there. This was a flat trailer and they got a couple coats down in it to stop the leak. We spent the next couple hour shoveling corn. It was a Wilson trailer with wood floor all of the floor boards lapped on one of the stringers they weren't staggered. figured we lost a couple hundred bushels. Trucker made it right, haule d my grain for a couple more years.

Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
