The DB 25D replaced the Cropmaster Diesel in 1954 and carried on in production till it was replaced by the DB850 in early 1960. In late 1956 DB replaced the 30D with the 900 tractor witch nearly bankruptured them because of all the problems and the was going to stop production of the 25D. DB largest dealer in the UK was South Lincolnshire Tractors of Kirton near Boston who was owned by DB Tractors sold a lot of 25D tractors for working in the vegitable and bulb growing fields of the Lincolnshire fens so DB carried on making the tractors till the DB850 was intrduced in early 1960. The late 25D tractors had CAV rotary type fuel injection pumps instead of the earlier CAV in line pumps.
