Diesel in the field. Better torque and better fuel economy. For a loader tractor in a cold climate it depends what you like. A gas loader tractor doesnt smoke up a building if it is used inside much. A gas loader tractor does not have gelling problems and usually starts better in cold weather. A gas tractor needs tune ups. A diesel just runs and runs and runs. A diesel loader tractor usually has better low end torque for putz around loader work. And again the diesel affords better fuel economy.
