Black fuel carboned plugs can be a cause of no start. Unusual but a plug may fire in the open air but when it gets under compression pressure it will fire down the electrode to the round insulator that is covered in black carbon and not ignite the fuel mixture. Take a propane torch and heat them up till you nearly have the ground electrode glowing red. Wait for them to cool and wire brush them. Spray them with carb cleaner then blast them with compressed air. Put them back in and see what happens.
