I have a 20 year old Kubota with an adjustable rate of lift. Adjusted with a valve knob on the front of the seat, down between your legs. On the fast rate it is too fast for anything I do. My newer John Deere with premium hydraulics is also adjustable but done through electronics. Takes longer to adjust unless you are on the right page. The Kubota can be adjusted from fast to slow or the other way around as fast as you can turn the knob.
