Hi, I would agree with the above. If you have an anvil that is the place to take it to. Tap firmly around the cap area to loosen the cap. If necessary make up a spanner that will be a very good safe fit that you can safely put leverage on. Don�t use heat at this stage. If the thread shoul �pick up� during removal you will be in trouble. Once you get it moving get some spray or oil into it and take it off slowly. DavidP, South Wales
