My tanks were marked 120 gallons. I had two of them on a trailer. They wrote me up for no brakes and no break away brake system on the trailer, There is safety chains. No registration or license plates on the trailer. Tanks were over the 119 limit. I was driving a company registered truck so that and the fact that I was carrying on road fuel caused me to be regulated under commercial rules. I found t creek trailers and they seem to have solved the problem using multiple tanks under 119 gallons. The tanks must not be connected when traveling on the road. I also found on the net where Agriculture is exempt to 502 gallons with travel restrictions. I was looking for some experience with the issue, did not find very much here.
