Case had a wide range of wheel & tire options for the 7-1030s. as well as front axle configurations and tire sizes. The dealers spec. them as they wanted when they ordered them. We always ordered 930s with 18.4x34 rears and 11Lx15 fronts. We ordered 1030s with 18.4x38s and 10.00x16 fronts. These sizes for us were well suited to the tractors HP and our hilly ground, row crops, and in-furrow plows. I presume out in the midwest where a lot of the tillage equipment was not 3pt mounted that a bit smaller diameter wider tires such as 23.1x26 or 30s was a better option. They even offered 14.9x38 spin-out rears for veggie operations. Loren
