I'm forever charging deep cycle batteries this time of year and also need a battery maintainer for over the summer. And good battery chargers ain't cheap. Then I got to thinking I have a good 4 way battery charger out of a camper. It has normal; boost; storage; and desulfation modes. All automatic but I have the optional mode selector where I can manually change the modes.
I need to get some clamps for the ends of the charge wires but I'm thinking this should work as a good battery charger.
