I have raised grain cattle feed for over 25 years now I have raised Haybet hay barley for hay, it is a beardless forage barely, lots more growth and leaf than normal barley has,, I will have a forage wheat next year called willow creek wheat as well as the haybet,, difference being I plant the willow creek in the fall rather than spring planted haybet,, cows will walk away from 2nd cutting alfalfa and run to these two grain crops
