Sounds like a good year for you Congrats on that as its always great to see them happen, 1/4 ton per acre here on my grass/alfalfa fields due to less than 2" of moisture from sept 1st 2019 until I cut the hay in june not a pretty year for us but we will again have a great year, on a brighter note my grain hay raised on summer fallow ground made just about 1 1/4 ton per acre,, average for this type hay for me is 2 1/2 -3 ton, here we get one cutting only just how it is,,
I will add the hay we did get was high quality hay just not enough of it,,
