They always seep around the top like that. There's a spring in there and that unit travels up and down, and the o rings leak. Sounds like you broke a gear in there, not hard to fix. Pull that wheel, and you'll see a ring of bolts around the carrier. Take them out, and there's a couple of draw bolt holes that you put a bolt in and tighten them, it will separate the case. Pull it out, you'll be able to find your problem most likely. Belarus in Milwaukee will have the parts you need, just rebuilt one of mine on my 820.Belarus's number is 1 800 356 2336
