We unload from the front. I have a metal shield that makes the hole smaller so the corn does not run out and make a big mess on the ground. You end up taking the beaters in and out of gear often to get started but it works ok. It maybe shells a little bit more but not alot. I prefer gravity boxes but sometimes you need the extra wagon. Tom
