Black is what sells. Aberdeen Angus is a major player in Premium grade beef. But Aberdeen is a town in NE Scotland which is cool season country. Adding some warm country blood to the mix, aka Brahman, gives the animal hot weather stamina. Therefore, my choice has been Brangus....⅜ Brahman and ⅝ Angus. When I sold off my heard in 2014, at the Durant, Ok. Stockyards, my 3 year old "Grade" Brangus bull brought $3200.
