I think you said someone gave you the dog - most likely the humane for them to do is pass the problem to someone else. Wild animals kill for food, not for fun. When a well fed domestic dog kills it's for fun and there's nothing more dangerous than a roaming pack of domestic dogs as they don't fear humans. Once a dog starts killing you will not train or change it. It can't be trusted. My friend's german shepherd bit a person when he was away from the farm and after his Insurance paid the claim, that was the end of the insurance. If your Insurance company gets wind of what happened you may find they will not be likely to renew your policy.
So, if you want to keep it, so be it. Just hope it doesn't do to a human what it did to the pig. If you want to do "the humane thing", give it away and I'm sure after you tell how it killed your best pig and tore up some household items you'll have folks lined up wanting to take it. Might even have to do interviews to be sure it gets a good home.
