Loader bucket and small ones can be dug out faster if they are just box elder or some junk tree like that . Then pull the dirt back if you don't try to push the tree way out the dirt will fall close to the spot as you dump it then the tree can be pushed by the roots to sort the dirt out of it. Backhoe or excavator or a dozer all work the best with the least damage to equipment. If you cut them off then spray with 24D in the spring will get a lot of them without the nonsense.
