Well I have been running g a 420A since 79, can't complain any worse than the common brands, abuse is abuse if noticed, look it over good as you would a known used brand, the brake and throttle linkages can stick with use and sitting still, also check the front spindle bushings. Watch the movement with turning the wheels side to side, that the wheels are not or tend to lean out or in from worn bushings or swivel bearings damaged, the front U-joints should show signs of greasing, 2 per front drive axle, also the spindle itself has a grease fitting, on the inside face area. Check the bolts [4] going upward into the framework holding the front axle in place are tight, maybe a bit different on the newer/larger tractor? One thing to ask the family? or whoever if there is a wooden box somewhere that came with the tractor when it was bought, spare injectors, fuel pump gaskets, belts, certain tools, accessory gaskets, steering box seals, light bulbs, fuses etc came with each tractor from Belarus, at least mine did. Hope it helps.
