Bought an original, unused Alemite grease gun & matching bucket pump off of eBay for $27 about a decade ago. Instructions were printed in '56, Alemite said it wasn't sold any later than '68.... at least by them. Works great! Did find out that the pump fits a 2.5 gal bucket that's no longer made & is just a hair too small for the 5 gal pails. Bought an empty 2.5 gal metal bucket off of eBay & use that for what I scrape out of the 5's when they're about empty. Also emptied the last 4 cartridges of grease in there as I am done with that system. That bucket gets stored in the basement so the grease doesn't go funny right away. That's my backup for when the big bucket is empty, or I'll take from it to fill grease cups. The other thing I use to fill grease cups is the overflow from the breather on the bottom of the aforementioned grease gun. Quite the handy setup.
