Monday was a WASH OUT here . I was down in the grouch cave tinkering at the bench and turned to get a tool off the table saw and noticed that i was getting FLOODED OUT . THe old basement floor is not level and that are is the low spot and before anything heads for the floor drain that area will be under six inches of water . I had water coming thru the old sand stone everywhere . Pulled the bag nad filter out of the shop vac and started sucking water . Must have raised the Ohio River level a good five inches from what i poured down the floor drain . For awhile there i thought i was going to need the two inch pump . That rain storm dropped us back into the mid sixtys for the day . Yesterday we were back up in the mid eighty's and a low lastnight in the mid sixty's and headed back for the mid eighty's today. You little bout with winter now has me thinking i need to work on the old snow blower while it is still nice out . Last year i had evverything ready to rock and roll and never even used it once as we only had to use the old kitchen broom one time to sweep the sidewalk .
