It seems the majority of the comments lead to stator with rectifier and regulator. With that being said I am working on removing the engine shroud but not having much luck. Cant seem to find all the bolts holding it on plus there appears to be 2 bolts inside the lower shroud section that I cant get a socket to fit on them. I was hoping to find a diagram that might show where all the bolts are but haven't found anything yet. I appreciate all the comments and any other suggestions would be great. Thank You. I was wondering if I could just pulll the flywheel off and find the rectifier and regulator behind it or should I be looking somewhere else?
