I like the 24x24 plan but do agree with others on making it min 10 ft high, plan for the future, my 69 model 4000 Ford is 7'8" to the top of the rain cap when it's open, 5" of stone on the sheds floor and I've got a bent muffler.
I don't think the city will say much about 10 ft height, around here you see a number of 12' sheds in for campers to fit in.
