I gave up on Goodyear several years back, but nothing to do with those reasons. Simply put, I found other Made in USA (at the time) tires for less money that had better traction and were quieter. The last Goodyear tires I bought began coming apart with very little use, and no highway speeds. Goodyear refused to even look at anything or even to accept the possibility that I might have some not-so-great tires. Then we bought a vehicle that had Goodyear HP's, and I got stuck in my own driveway! Never again.
